What is Sterilair PRO?
Sterilair PRO is a unique product, manufactured by Tecno-Gaz in Italy since 1995. Sterilair PRO is a device to sterilize ambient air, thanks to the action of UV-C tubes, with proven action against viruses, bacteria, and yeast, with demonstrated efficiency by numerous studies - available to download below.
A fan creates a depression and ambient air is absorbed and treated with the action of 4 UV-C tubes of 25W each, and the radiation is enhanced with the light reflector by the internal parts of the Sterilair PRO.
The Sterilair Pro can treat 120 m3 per hour and bacterial reduction of 90% can be evidenced after 3 hours of continuous action.
Sterilair PRO can be fixed on the wall or used with a mobile stand to move it from one room to another.

The Technology Behind Sterilair PRO
Sterilair PRO contains 4 UV-C lamps of 25 W each , and 100 W overall.
The internal case reflects and maximizes the UV-C lamps action.
An interchange flow is established between hot air going up and cold air going down. It is called the convection effect.
Cold air is absorbed by Sterilair PRO passing through the ventilator and filter that creates an aspiration effect.
UV-C Tubes & Viruses
Coronaviruses are extremely sensitive to UV-C tube action. One single movement through the Sterilair Pro vent is enough to destroy 90% of a virus's content.
We speak about Coronavirus families, but not of COVID 19 in particular, for which we do not have any studies available yet. These studies are in progress and will be published in due course.
We also refer to viruses that are directly exposed to the UV-C tube action, meaning viruses that pass through the Sterilair PRO.
